The ticket price for a balloon flight includes every element of the full 3–4-hour DreamBalloon experience: meeting the pilot and crew, a safety briefing, approximately one hour of flight time, the opportunity to take part in the balloon packing process, a celebratory picnic with champagne and flight certificates, and transport back to the meeting point (for flights where this is included).
A balloon flight is a relatively costly, yet truly unforgettable experience.

Your reservation is binding for us. Our entire system operates based on confirmed bookings. Every change requires significant effort on our part to fill the spot in the balloon that you’ve released. Therefore, as a rule, once a booking is confirmed, it cannot be changed. For this reason, we kindly ask you to carefully consider your decision before confirming your reservation.
In exceptional and unforeseen situations, we can modify your reservation up to 72 hours before the planned flight while keeping your ticket valid. In such cases, please contact us by phone as soon as possible (no later than 72 hours before the scheduled flight).

DreamBalloon allows you to return your ticket without giving any reason within 14 days of purchase.

The only exception applies to tickets that have already been used. If the booking code from the ticket has been used at least once to register for a flight — even if the flight did not take place — the ticket is non-refundable.

Our many years of experience in the industry have allowed us to develop a “confirmation or cancellation” system, in which the pilot responsible for the flight makes the final decision no later than 2:00 PM on the day of the evening flight, or no later than 9:00 PM on the day before the morning flight.
This process is based entirely on weather forecasts, which are difficult to predict accurately more than 12 hours before a flight. This system helps us avoid uncomfortable situations where a flight is confirmed too early and later has to be cancelled at the launch site due to changing weather conditions.

Sometimes the weather looks perfect, yet it’s still unsuitable for flying. When planning a flight, the key factor determining safety is the wind. Since a balloon travels at various altitudes, the pilot considers wind speed not only at ground level but also at higher elevations. In Poland’s climate zone, it sometimes happens that the wind is weak right at ground level, but already 10–20 metres above the ground, it becomes too strong. A balloon is between 20 and 50 metres tall (depending on its size), which means that even while standing on the ground, it can be affected by winds we can’t feel at ground level. And this creates the risk of a dangerous take-off or landing. In such cases, the flight must be cancelled. Another situation that may cause a cancellation is forecasted storms. We know that it often happens that a forecasted storm never occurs or passes far away from our area. However, in such situations, our pilots must cancel the flight, as they cannot take even the slightest risk of flying near a storm.
Another factor that can cause flight cancellation, even in seemingly nice weather, is fog. This applies especially to morning flights during transitional seasons. Sometimes weather forecasts make no mention of reduced visibility, yet local conditions at the launch site — such as nearby bodies of water or rainfall from the previous day — can cause fog formation. In such a situation, the pilot must cancel the flight.

It’s important to remember that all our pilots are passionate about flying and truly love what they do. However, thanks to their extensive experience, each of them is highly aware of the potential risks that can occur when flying in unsuitable conditions. That’s why their decision to cancel a flight may sometimes seem unclear — but we kindly ask for your trust. EVERY CANCELLED FLIGHT IS, ABOVE ALL, A SIGN OF OUR CONCERN FOR YOUR SAFETY.

Since a balloon flight depends entirely on weather conditions, we cannot determine whether the conditions will be suitable earlier than 12 hours before the flight. That’s why our pilots make the final decision about the flight by 2:00 PM on the day of the flight, or by 9:00 PM the day before in the case of a morning flight.

You will then receive an SMS text message or email with information about the pilot’s decision. If the decision is positive and the flight will go ahead, the same message will include the exact meeting time and location. This message serves as final and confirmed information — there is no need to reconfirm.

If you do not receive a message by 2:00 PM or 9:00 PM (for a morning flight), please contact our customer service — this may indicate a technical issue with the reservation system.

Unfortunately, yes — although it happens extremely rarely. Despite having access to the latest meteorological technologies and support from the National Institute of Meteorology and aviation services, in rare cases, the weather forecast can still be inaccurate. This may happen when weather changes arrive either earlier or later than expected. In such a case, following the principle of SAFETY FIRST, the pilot may cancel the flight after carefully analysing the conditions at the launch site. If that happens, your ticket automatically remains valid, and you can rebook your next flight on the very same day.

The DreamBalloon website features its own online booking system, which you can easily access directly from our homepage. Simply click on the “Flight Calendar” link on the homepage — this will take you to a list of all scheduled flights. If you already have a flight ticket, select your preferred region from the list and register for a specific flight.

We do our best to schedule flights one month in advance. This means that in the calendar you’ll see all planned flights for the next 30 days. During this period, we schedule flights in all regions where tickets have been sold — so you’re sure to find a flight that suits you.
