Lot balonem Koszalin - widok na półwysep pokryty lasami z morzem po jednej i jeziorem po drugiej stronie

The Beautiful West-Pomeranian Coast

The stretch between Koszalin and Słupsk is one of Poland’s best-kept open secrets. From the basket, you see why: a long ribbon of Baltic beach, coastal lakes separated from the sea by a thin strip of dunes, and deep green forest rolling inland without interruption. Flights here trace the boundary between land and water. Lake Jamno, Lake Bukowo, and the Słowiński dunes are all within range on a calm morning. The air smells of pine and salt, and the only sound is the occasional burst of the burner above your head.

Where Do We Take Off From?

Common Questions

There's a few of us – can we be sure we'll be on the same flight?
Of course! Our flight calendar offers information on the number of open spots in each flight. Just choose one that has enough spaces for all of you and you sign everyone up for the same flight.
How long does the flight last?

We usually spend about an hour in the air. However, this depends entirely on terrain and weather conditions. Sometimes we land after just 50 minutes, as continuing the flight would require staying in the air much longer (for example, when approaching a city or dense forest). At other times, we may fly for 70 or even 80 minutes if the situation requires it (for example, when flying over a city in light wind and waiting to find a safe landing spot). Our balloons are always equipped with enough gas to safely remain airborne for 100–120 minutes.

However, you should set aside about 3–4 hours for the entire adventure. This includes a short passenger briefing, balloon setup, the flight itself, packing up the balloon, and a celebratory glass of sparkling wine shared with fellow passengers and the crew.

How many people are in the basket?

It depends – typically between 10-18 people.

Is flying in a hot air balloon safe?

A hot air balloon is the first — and statistically the safest — type of aircraft we can fly. DreamBalloon is a licensed air carrier approved by European, Scandinavian, and Polish aviation authorities. We operate under strict supervision and regulation. We hold a licence for conducting commercial passenger flights issued by the Danish Civil Aviation Authority and approved by the Polish Civil Aviation Authority. All our pilots are fully certified for commercial hot air balloon flights and undergo regular quality and skills assessments. These inspections are carried out in accordance with the company’s Operations Manual.
The equipment we fly is also subject to strict inspections, conducted at least once a year by two independent companies specialising in technical evaluations of balloons.

Balloon Flights Over Koszalin

Central Pomerania is a region full of contrasts – from coastal landscapes and sandy beaches, through green fields and forests, all the way to the picturesque lakes around Szczecinek. Every flight is only as special as the landscape below it. Not many places in Poland can match these views from above – or the hot air balloon basket, to be precise!
Our flight areas are divided into several potential launch sites to account for changing weather conditions. It’s not uncommon for strong winds in Kołobrzeg to prevent take-off, while just 50 km south the conditions can be perfectly calm, allowing our adventure to begin.
This approach means that instead of cancelling flights due to unfavorable weather, we can simply adjust the launch site without compromising the experience itself. Most often, primarily due to weather conditions, flights take place in the Koszalin area. Occasionally, we also launch from locations near Szczecinek.
• Koszalin offers breathtaking views of Góra Chełmska and the city skyline, with the vast Baltic Sea in the background, framed by colourful fields and lush forests.
• Kołobrzeg treats you to views of the port and seaside promenades, with the Baltic stretching out behind and the picturesque surrounding landscape.
• Szczecinek delights with panoramic views of the town and Lake Trzesiecko, nestled among green forests and rolling fields.
A flight with DreamBalloon offers a chance to rediscover Central Pomerania from an entirely new perspective. Book your ticket today and start your adventure of a lifetime!
