Loty balonem Poznań i Leszno - panorama miejska Poznania

Greater Poland at First Light

Poznań and Leszno sit in the middle of Poland’s breadbasket. From the basket, the view is all gentle geometry: the coloured squares of rapeseed and wheat fields, the dark ribbons of tree-lined roads, the slow curve of the Warta river heading north. This is old agricultural country, settled for a thousand years, and the landscape has the calm order that comes from generations of careful farming. Morning flights here are exceptionally smooth, and evening flights unusually beautiful. The terrain is flat enough for long, unhurried drifts, and the sunlight turns the whole plain golden.

Common Questions

There's a few of us – can we be sure we'll be on the same flight?
Of course! Our flight calendar offers information on the number of open spots in each flight. Just choose one that has enough spaces for all of you and you sign everyone up for the same flight.
How long does the flight last?

We usually spend about an hour in the air. However, this depends entirely on terrain and weather conditions. Sometimes we land after just 50 minutes, as continuing the flight would require staying in the air much longer (for example, when approaching a city or dense forest). At other times, we may fly for 70 or even 80 minutes if the situation requires it (for example, when flying over a city in light wind and waiting to find a safe landing spot). Our balloons are always equipped with enough gas to safely remain airborne for 100–120 minutes.

However, you should set aside about 3–4 hours for the entire adventure. This includes a short passenger briefing, balloon setup, the flight itself, packing up the balloon, and a celebratory glass of sparkling wine shared with fellow passengers and the crew.

How many people are in the basket?

It depends – typically between 10-18 people.

Is flying in a hot air balloon safe?

A hot air balloon is the first — and statistically the safest — type of aircraft we can fly. DreamBalloon is a licensed air carrier approved by European, Scandinavian, and Polish aviation authorities. We operate under strict supervision and regulation. We hold a licence for conducting commercial passenger flights issued by the Danish Civil Aviation Authority and approved by the Polish Civil Aviation Authority. All our pilots are fully certified for commercial hot air balloon flights and undergo regular quality and skills assessments. These inspections are carried out in accordance with the company’s Operations Manual.
The equipment we fly is also subject to strict inspections, conducted at least once a year by two independent companies specialising in technical evaluations of balloons.

Balloon Flights Over Poznań & Leszno

The wide, open fields and flat landscapes of Greater Poland are simply stunning. Leszno, in particular, is famous for gliding — it’s considered one of the best places for this sport in all of Poland, thanks to excellent conditions and vast, obstacle-free spaces.
During the summer season, these areas create ideal conditions for gliding during the day, while early mornings and evenings offer calmer, yet equally exciting, opportunities for balloon flights. Just a few meters above the ground, and you immediately notice that you’re never alone in the sky.
From the balloon basket, Greater Poland reveals a completely different face – even to those who thought they knew it well. Colourful fields, sun-glittering ponds, streams winding through meadows and picturesque villages – these seemingly ordinary places, seen from above, stay with you for a long time.
A small shift in the time of day or season makes the same places look completely different – and just as beautiful every single time.
The real charm lies in the simplicity and beauty of nature, combined with a sense of true freedom. Words don’t do it justice. It’s something you have to see for yourself – from above.
