1. A Visit Among the Clouds
Autumn flights are beautiful too! In October, we flew over Koszalin and managed to rise above a thick layer of clouds. Of course, after covering some distance, we landed with perfect visibility — and the views were simply breathtaking.
Our passengers were lucky to witness a “glory” — an optical phenomenon that appears only on clouds or fog and often looks like a full circular rainbow. 🙂

2. “When Will the Balloon Return to the Starting Point?”
“When will the balloon return?” — that’s a question we sometimes hear from passengers and curious onlookers. Until now, our usual answer was that the balloon doesn’t return to its starting point, as it flies with the direction and speed of the wind and usually lands several kilometers away.
However, in July 2022, during a flight near Szczecin, the wind direction was so changeable that the balloon took off from the Szczecin Aeroclub area and landed in exactly the same place!
To everyone who’s ever asked — fair point, it really can happen! 😉
3. Unexpected Visitors
At the beginning of September, we had the pleasure of flying over the Northern Tricity area. After more than an hour-long flight, we landed, packed up the balloon, and took our passengers for a picnic. A police car soon arrived — they had received a report about a flying balloon someone had supposedly fallen out of!
Just minutes after the police left, a fire truck showed up. The firefighters, just as confused to see a relaxed group enjoying a picnic, told us they’d received another emergency call — claiming the balloon had landed in the trees.
It was quite a funny situation, but let’s set the record straight — no one falls out of a balloon, and we definitely don’t land in trees! 🙂
4. Greetings from Above
During flights, especially at lower altitudes, we often see children and families coming out of their homes to wave at us or take pictures (some even send us those photos — thank you!).
5. A Winter Flight Across the Mountains
In January, we managed to complete several flights in Italy, over the Dolomites. These flights required extra preparation and caution.
We flew at altitudes of up to 12,000 feet (around 3,650 meters), in temperatures as low as -20°C, covering distances of up to 100 kilometers.

6. Every Flight Is Beautiful
Every hot air balloon flight is beautiful. Spring, summer, autumn, or winter; morning or evening — it doesn’t matter. Each one is unique and magical. From above, we often spot foxes, wild boars, and sometimes even wolves wandering through the forests. Sometimes we “meet” paragliders in the air, and other times we rise above the clouds.
If you have special memories or unforgettable moments from your flight, share them with us 😊
